I may process information that you provide when you contact or book me, including:

• Photographs, stories and other personal material supplied for a custom quiz

This website does not use a contact form. You choose what information to send when contacting me by email or WhatsApp.

How is your information used?

I use personal information to:

• Respond to enquiries and check availability

• Prepare quotations and bookings

• Create, customize and host quizzes

• Communicate about an event

• Send invoices and maintain legally required business records

• Deal with questions, complaints or disputes

• Improve and promote QuizChris where I have an appropriate legal basis to do so
  
  

The legal grounds for this processing are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, legitimate business interests and consent where required.

Custom quiz material

Only provide photographs or personal information that you are entitled to share. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary and has been agreed in advance.

Personal material supplied for a custom quiz is used only to prepare and deliver the agreed event. It is normally deleted within three months after the event unless it must be retained longer to resolve an issue or you ask me to retain it for a future booking.

Event photographs

Photographs may be taken at QuizChris events for use on this website and in promotional material. If you appear in a photograph and would like it removed, email quizchrisgmail@gmail.com and I will remove it as soon as reasonably possible.

Website analytics and cookies

This website is hosted by Framer and uses Framer’s built-in, cookieless analytics. These analytics provide general information such as page views and traffic sources. According to Framer, they do not store information that identifies individual visitors.

The website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable advertising trackers, and it does not place non-essential cookies. No cookie-consent banner is therefore used.

If the website’s analytics or integrations change, this policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated before those tools are activated.

External links

The website contains links to services including WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google and Brouwerij Troost. These services apply their own privacy policies when you follow those links or use their platforms.

Who receives your information?

Information may be processed through service providers used to run the business, including Framer, email and hosting providers, WhatsApp, bookkeeping services and professional advisers where necessary.

Information is not sold. It is shared only where necessary to provide the requested service, administer the business, protect legal rights or comply with the law.

Some service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, they are responsible for using legally recognized safeguards for those transfers.

How long is information retained?

• Enquiries that do not result in a booking are normally deleted within 12 months of the last contact.

• Custom photographs and personal material are normally deleted within three months after the event.

• Contracts, invoices and legally required financial records are retained for the applicable statutory period, generally seven years.

• Event photographs may be retained while they remain relevant to QuizChris promotional material, unless removal is requested.
  
  

Information may be retained longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent.

You can also submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
